Who is Anna Anderson?

  • Anastasia
  • The inventor of pen ink
  • A woman who posed as a Romanov correct

For those of you who picked "A" you are not alone in your theory but you are also super wrong. In 1917, Tsar Nicholas and his family were captured and executed, however, it would be decades before any bodies of the Romanov family were found. In 1920, Anna Anderson was institutionalized after trying to commit suicide and claimed she was the youngest Romanov daughter, Anastasia. Many people, including other Romanovs, believed Anna. It wasn't until after her death in 1984, that DNA testing proved that Anna was not a Romanov. Another conspiracy theory cracked!
