Which of the Great Lakes in the U.S. does not share a border with Canada?
- Lake Huron
- Lake Superior
- Lake Michigan
Lake Michigan is the only one of the five Great Lakes located entirely within the borders of the United States. The U.S. and Canada share the remaining four lakes. Lake Michigan is the second largest of these iconic lakes by volume and the third in the list by surface area. Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan share Lake Michigan. The word "Michigan" most probably comes from the Ojibwe word "mishigami," which means "great water." Source: Great- Lakes.net; LiveScience.com
