What percentage of American household pets are obese?

  • 32%
  • 54% correct

If you feel like Fido has been looking a little sluggish lately, you aren't alone. 54% of cats and dogs in the US are obese. There are two reasons for this and you might not be surprised to find out that it is our problem, as well: too much food, not enough exercise. An indoor cat burns pretty much nothing and only require about 180 calories a day. One cup of the average cat food has roughly 350 calories in it. So skip the extra kibble and spend your time walking your dog or playing with your cat that way everyone benefits!
