What is the most popular emoji?

  • πŸ˜‰
  • πŸ˜‚ correct

Here's a fact that will blow your mind- Last Year, Oxford Dictionaries picked its word of the year and it wasn't a word, it was- wait for it- an emoji. Yes, you read that correctly, it wasn't the word "emoji" it was actually an emoji or, more specifically πŸ˜‚ (or crying tears of joy) . And why this emoji? Well, both Oxford University and Swiftkey found that in web-based emoji use, the πŸ˜‚ was used 20% of the time in total emoji use in the U.K. and 17% of the time in the U.S. If that doesn't make you cry tears of joy, we don't know what will!
