What does it mean when a television show is "syndicated"?
- It is canceled
- It switches networks
- It can be played on multiple networks
We have always heard the term that a show is "syndicated" but I think most of us just smile and nod and say that is nice without really understanding what that means. Syndicated means a show can now be purchased by independent stations to play on their network like when TBS airs old episodes of "Sex in the City" but half of Samantha's scenes are cut out and she says "fudge" a lot.
- It gets a new writer
