The band has yet to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, much to the chagrin of its fans. In 2011, Bon Jovi came close, earning a spot on the ballot. However, the group failed to make the final cut and has been left off of every ballot since. When radio host Howard Stern asked lead singer Jon Bon Jovi about the snub earlier this year, the rock legend didn't hold back. "The criteria is actually that your music had an influence on generations that came after you, and that it's still out and very present," he said. "Yeah, we have every criteria." Source:
